This week, TCA seventh and eighth graders participated in a two-part workshop on substance abuse. The workshop series, run by Communities Confronting Substance Abuse (CCSA), teaches students about the risks and dangers of substance abuse.The students were privileged to hear a presentation from Elana Forman, who wove her own story of addiction and recovery into a lesson on the dangers of abusing drugs and alcohol. The second part of the workshop welcomed Detective Gallucci, from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, who continued the in-depth discussion on the impact of drugs and alcohol.
