(Courtesy of Cedar Market) In the wake of the terror attack on our Jewish nation, Cedar Market recently placed an Israel-themed coloring page as their back-page newspaper ad. Readers are asked to submit the colored artwork to the store, to be included in a special project the market was featuring. Each submitted drawing was rewarded with an instant cash savings on the customer’s transaction as a way of giving thanks to those who partook. With the 250-plus submissions, Cedar Market created a heartfelt display across the front windows of the store with all the drawings.
“The way Cedar Market incorporated creativity from the children to be showcased for positivity is very uplifting and touching,” said Atara Solow, executive director at American Friends of Migdal Ohr (which Cedar Market recently partnered with in a matching campaign, supporting the displaced families throughout Israel since the devastation of October 7).
“Be sure to take a look at the drawings from the children throughout our community when you are in the store next,” representatives of Cedar Market said. “Very heartwarming and sentimental. Together, as one nation, we will prevail. Am Yisroel Chai!”
