(Courtesy of CMD) CMD hosted Frisch High School students the week of Nov. 14 in its Englewood office location. The program, spearheaded by Englewood cardiologist Joseph Shatzkes, looks to pair interested students on a medical track with licensed medical practitioners in the clinical setting. Dr. Michael Horowitz (hand surgery); Dr Steven Horowitz (pain management); Dr. Dovi Popowitz (foot and ankle surgeon); and Dr. Jonathan Lewin (spine surgery), involved the students in pre- and post-op evaluations and basic review of imaging and MRI studies.

Dr. Popowitz commented, “They were very engaged and had their foot on the pulse!”

Dr. Michael Horowitz remarked, “Leave it to Frisch to provide excellent opportunities like this one to their students.” Dr. Steven Horowitz felt, “They would make great pain management doctors!”
