With many Chanukah parties cancelled due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in our area, Chabad of Hackensack invites the community to a 100% COVID-safe Chanukah party, which can be joined from the convenience of your own car.

“We are not going to let COVID ruin our Chanukah celebration,” said Rabbi Mendy Kaminker of Chabad of Hackensack. “If anything, these times are calling for an increase in our celebration, not a decrease.”

The celebration will take place on the first night of Chanukah, Thursday, December 10, with a car menorah parade. Participants will receive a menorah to place on top of their car, and enjoy Chanukah refreshments and music while they drive from Chabad of Hackensack to the courthouse.
