Chabad of Hackensack to Mark Rebbe’s Yahrzeit

(Courtesy of Chabad of Hackensack) In the coming days, tens of thousands of Jews around the world will be commemorating the 27th yahrtzeit of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson of righteous memory. A local event will be hosted by Friends of Lubavitch of Bergen County and Chabad of Hackensack on June 8 at 7:30 p.m.

The event, titled “But do I matter?” is a special lecture presented by Rabbi Shais Taub, a world-renowned speaker and author. It will touch upon the following topics:

Are we replaceable? Why do we go on? In today’s “connected” society, the problem of disconnectedness, loneliness and despair have reached epidemic proportions. What can the Rebbe’s wisdom teach us about how to find self-worth and a deep sense of well-being?

“As we emerge from the pandemic, the question of our self value and our emotional health is more important than ever,” explained Rabbi Mendy Kaminker of Chabad of Hackensack. “Rabbi Taub is blessed with a unique ability to both inform, educate and inspire us. Delving upon the Rebbe’s teaching, this event is promised to make a positive impact on participants.”

The event will be held at Chabad of Hackensack. Zoom options will be available. RSVP to www.ChabadHackensack.com/3Tammuz  or (201) 503-3770.
