Lubavitch on the Palisades preschoolers learned about the metamorphosis of butterflies. They learned about the four stages that include the egg, caterpillar, chrysalis and butterfly. They read “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” played a caterpillar game and painted butterflies. The children cut the images of the four stages and glued each one on the correct number. Each class welcomed their very own caterpillars to their classes, observing their changes and then set their butterflies free.
