Parshat Noach was an exciting springboard for the Lubavitch on the Palisades curriculum last week. Children took different objects and placed them in water and did experiments with sinking and floating. Nursery children re-enacted the story when they had their faces painted as different animals and boarded the teiva in pairs. Rabbi Shain, executive director of Lubavitch on the Palisades, pretended to be Noach as the mabul started and sang songs in the teiva with the children. Children also learned about colors, collaged rainbows and mixed primary colors.
