Chabad of Tenafly Readies For a Sweet New Year

Preschool students at Lubavitch on the Palisades jumped right into their fall curriculum and started learning about apples. They learned the names of various apples and got to taste Golden Delicious, Granny Smith and Red Delicious apples and graph their favorites. Children did various activities to develop matching, color sorting and counting skills. They went “apple picking” and collected apples that were spread around the classroom, matched them to their matching color tree and counted all the apples in each tree. They sorted three color popsicle sticks, painted apples, and used number cards to put apples into a tree and enjoyed reading the book “A Tree is Nice.”
