Chabad of West Orange will host Rabbi Elisha Pearl on Monday, Jan. 20 at 7:30 p.m. as he explores timeless Jewish teachings on war, peace and security in Israel.
Drawing from both ancient texts and contemporary insights of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, this presentation will tackle today’s most pressing questions: When does pursuing peace actually endanger lives? What can we learn from 3,000 years of Jewish wisdom about conflict resolution? How do we balance moral ideals with practical security?
In these turbulent times, discover how age-old Jewish wisdom offers surprising insights for modern challenges. Whether concerned about global events or seeking deeper understanding of Jewish perspectives on peace and security, this evening promises to challenge assumptions and offer fresh insights.
Light refreshments will be served. Suggested donation: $18. All are welcome.
Reservations can be made by emailing [email protected] or calling 973-325-6311.
