Please Join CHADD of Bergen County for its 2021 ADHD winter speaker series, planned for Monday, January 4, from 8 p.m. – 9:15 p.m. EST. The topic will be “Stepping Away from ADHD Thinking Traps.”

Featured speakers will be Andrea Elrom, Mindy Schwartz and Jordy Travis, all three exceptional and experienced certified ADHD coaches who trained at ADDCA before developing their individual coaching practices. Schwartz and Travis specialize in supporting teens and young adults. Elrom provides parent education and family coaching.

Does your automatic, negative self-talk keep you feeling bad about yourself, paralyzed or anxious? Do these thoughts leave you emotionally drained and powerless? Not sure how to do things differently?

Elrom, Schwartz and Travis will offer help to those with (and without) ADHD to develop a more positive relationship twithheir thoughts. They will provide strategies to help recognize and change ADHD “thinking traps.” By changing the way we think we can change the way
we feel.

The presentation will be followed by a Q & A session. The meeting is open to all who seek support and information, including parents, clinicians and teachers. A virtual handout will be available to all attendees.
