Students from the Thurnauer School of Music at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades performed in the final recital of the 14^th annual Thurnauer Chamber Music Camp, led by Zoran Jakovcic. Sixteen students, ranging in age from eight to 17, traveled from throughout northern New Jersey and Manhattan to enjoy two fun and gratifying weeks devoted to playing and sharing music for duos, trios, quartets and orchestra. Fifteen-year-old violinist and composer Justin Zeitlinger of Dumont (pictured here), attended the camp for his fourth summer and expressed the following thoughts: “It’s been a wonderful experience to see myself grow as a musician, working with my peers and wonderful instructors, and performing fantastic repertoire.”
