Change the Conversation About Israel and How to Engage the Next Generation

Chloe Simone Valdary is a 23-year-old Christian from New Orleans who saw a parallel between the black experience in America and the Jewish experience in the Middle East. Her studies and experiences led her to be a strong advocate for Israel. She has spoken throughout the country and has been interviewed on the Huffington Post Live, Al Jazeera and Salon Talk. Chloe is working to change the conversation about Israel and engage the next generation.

The Israel Support Committee of Central Jersey invites you to hear Ms. Valdary share the story of her journey to becoming a committed Zionist, Thursday evening, 7:30 p.m., May 31, at the Central NJ JCC, 1391 Martine Ave. in Scotch Plains. It is open to the public. Light refreshments are available. A $10 donation is suggested, free for students and recent graduates.

The Israel Support Committee represents Chabad of Union County of Scotch Plains, Congregation Anshe Chesed of Linden, Congregation Beth Israel of Scotch Plains, Congregation Israel of Springfield, Temple Beth El/Mekor Chayim of Cranford, Temple Beth O’r/Beth Torah of Clark, Temple Emanu-El of Westfield, Temple Sholom of Scotch Plains, and Union County Torah Center of Westfield. The committee’s mission is to disseminate information about issues affecting Israel and to provide support for the people and the State of Israel.
