Cheder Yaldei Menachem was abuzz with Purim activity this week. The highlight was CYM’s Purim carnival day! Children came to school outfitted in costume. and went on to enjoy fun games and activities led by CYM’s very own first graders. They got their faces painted, searched for tzedakah coins in Purim sensory bins, made delicious Hamantashen, designed “It’s time to be happy” watches, masks and much more. The best part was dressing up like Mordechai and riding the king’s horse through town. What an exciting way to experience Purim!
