This week Cheder Yaldei Menachem celebrated Yud Shevat and the Lubavitcher Rebbes’ leadership. Through visuals, song and activities they absorbed their notable mission to permeate our mundane world with holiness, transforming it into a beautiful garden where Hashem is happy to be. The children were empowered with this important purposeful job. They learned how to infuse daily objects and actions with Godliness, by doing Mitzvot. To conceptualize this incredible mission in a visual way, the children played with a sparkle sensory bottle. The top was covered with clouds and the bottom with grass and flowers. When doing a mitzvah, they turn it over to see Hashem’s crown softly floating down to the bottom, resting proudly in His beautiful world. It was a purposeful lesson on bringing heaven down to earth.
