CYM celebrated royalty through the life of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, wife of the Lubavitcher Rebbe on her yahrzeit, 22 Shevat. The children learned that each one of them is a prince or princesses, children of Hashem, the great king of the world. He loves and cares for us like a father. Princes and princesses dress royally on the outside. Yet, more majestic than that is how we act, should come from our neshama, inside. As Jewish princes and princesses we act regally, with kindness. We are thoughtful, helpful and caring. As children of royalty, we share and give of ourselves in any way we can. Rebbitzen Chaya Mushka exemplified this majestic manner, and we all strive to do the same. The children wore crowns and received badges for letting their beautiful neshamas shine through. This special event was celebrated with a hot meat lunch, compliments of CYM.
