Tu B’Shevat provided CYM with a wonderful opportunity to appreciate Hashem’s bountiful blessings in the world of botany. The exploration began with trees, yet provided many other learning opportunities as well. Children planted and enjoyed the sensory experience of playing with dirt. They labeled the different parts of a tree and built structures using tree blocks. Best of all was shopping in our Brachos snack shop and cutting up healthy fruits for a wholesome fruit kabob.
