This week Cheder Yaldei Menachem enjoyed the Matzah Factory experience! The children made their very own matzos from scratch. They began by keeping the flour and water in their own compartments just to be sure that they do not mix. Then the children carefully measured the proper amounts of each and put it in the container. After setting the timer for 18 minutes, they quickly got to work, pouring, mixing, rolling and puncturing with a fork. Afterwards, they baked them in their very own matzah oven and listened for the 18-minute timer rang. The best way to learn about matzah is to actually experience it.
