The attribute of kindness was of most significance to Avraham when choosing a wife for his son Yitzchok. Rivka embodied this character wholeheartedly and was rewarded with special miracles. Blessing found its way in her Shabbos challah, candles and cloud of holiness which surrounded her tent. As the mother of our people, Rivka bequeathed this quality to us all. As imbued in Rivka, kindness matters at Cheder Yaldei Menachem. This value is felt all throughout CYM, especially when re-enacting the parsha. While traveling with camels, beading necklaces for Rivka, building a well, exploring clouds, making challah, lighting candles and everything else, this kindness is present. It has a ripple effect, inspiring everyone.
