Spring has sprung and it is felt in the air at Cheder Yaldei Menachem. Children have been enjoying the beautiful weather outside. They are observing and experiencing the changes happening all around them, especially the blooming flowers and blossoming trees. The classes are using these pretty and colorful creations of Hashem in learning, art and play. Many classes designed flowers to decorate their Har Sinai. Best of all was taking a walk to touch, feel and collect their own spring souvenirs. They counted and felt the soft petals, noticed the bright colors and breathed in the fresh scents of the season. The children then sat on the grass and enjoyed a storytime with Rabbi Zakheim. The stroll culminated with making a special bracha, thanking Hashem for His wonderful world which lacks nothing.
