Primer at Cheder Yaldei Menachem was treated to a memorable and meaningful trip to the Ohel of the Lubavitcher Rebbe this week. They got an early start and enjoyed the drive by observing all the sights and sounds along the way. Upon arrival, the children davened beautifully with their siddurim, it was such a special sight to behold. Then each child penned their own “pan” letter, detailing their growth and request for brachos.
They then removed their leather shoes, gave tzedaka and headed to the Ohel. They read their “pan” there and, as customary, tore it up and put it in the Ohel along with the mitzvah notes that they brought along with them. After this special experience, they all enjoyed their lunch with a special dessert cookie from the Ohel! What a significant and purposeful trip.
