It is again time to begin the learning and review of the U.S. Chidon Tanach/Bible Contest material. The first session will begin Sunday, September 11, 2016, and will continue up to the U.S. Nationals sometime in May 2017.
Young women are invited from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., and young men from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. It is officially for grades six through 11.
The review sessions are led by Mr. Reuven (Ruby) Stepansky. The requirements are a willingness to learn and have fun learning, while continuing to expand learning about our Jewish heritage and history. For those who wish to prepare in advance for Sunday’s opening session, they should review Devarim 1-3 and Melachim I Chapters 1-2.Attendees are invited to bring a Tanach of their choice.
All instructors are volunteers. There is no charge for the sessions.
All sessions will be held at the Adas Israel, 565 Broadway, Passaic, NJ, on Sundays. (See https://chidonusa.wordpress.com/.) For further questions, contact Ruby Stepansky at (973) 634-4031 [email protected].
