It is again time to begin the learning and review of the U.S. Chidon Tanach/Bible Contest material. The first session will be on September 10, 2017, and will continue up to the U.S. Nationals on April 29, 2018.
Young women are invited from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., and young men from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. It is officially for grades six through 11.
The review sessions are led by Mr. Reuven (Ruby) Stepansky. The requirements are a willingness to learn and have fun learning while continuing to expand learning about our Jewish heritage and history. For those who wish to prepare in advance for Sunday’s opening session, they should review Bereishit 1-3 and 26-27. Attendees are invited to bring a Tanach of their choice.
All instructors are volunteers. There is no charge for the sessions.
All sessions will be held at the Adas Israel, 565 Broadway, Passaic, New Jersey, on Sundays. (See https://chidonusa.wordpress.com/.) For further questions, contact Ruby Stepansky at (973) 634-4031 or [email protected].
