Chopstix Plans 14th Annual Party to Benefit Tomorrow’s Children

The 14th annual Chopstix party benefitting Tomorrow’s Children at Hackensack University Medical Center will take place on Monday, January 30, 6:15-8:40 p.m., at the Moose Lodge, 201 W. Englewood Ave., Teaneck.

The cost of admission is an unwrapped new gift for young patients in treatment at Tomorrow’s Children. In addition to food from Chopstix, Dougie’s of Teaneck, Glatt Express, Mediterranea, Chickie’s, Poppy’s and Butterflake, there will be live music and entertainment.

“Each year we are able to contribute more and more to brighten the holidays of children who are desperately ill,” said Chopstix owner Elie Y. Katz. “It is an incredible feeling to see both the outpouring of support from our customers and friends and the joy from the hospital community.”

The party is also sponsored by Jewish Link of NJ co-publisher Councilman Mark Schwartz; Camp Mesorah; The Jewish Link of NJ; Eli Auto; Trophy King; Moose Lodge; Magic Masters Entertainment and Mark Infield.

Tomorrow’s Children at Hackensack University Medical Center treats and offers support to young people and their families with cancer and other serious illnesses.

“Several years ago we wanted to thank our friends and customers,” said Chopstix partner Uri Herzog. “But we also thought, ‘Let’s turn this into something that helps others, too.’ And so the holiday party was born.”
