Classes are in full swing at the Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies (BCHSJS.) Among the classes offered this year are “Moses, Monty Python and the Mishna” taught by Dr. Daniel Rynhold. The class tackles questions using the humor of the Pythons and classical texts of Judaism to engage in discussions of real Jewish questions. Among the many sources quoted are the Babylonian Talmud, Vayikra, Sefer HaChinuch and the Mishna Torah.
