(CMEK) The CMEK fourth grade girls from Englewood (Moriah) won the Air Force Division in the  Bergen Travel Basketball League. The team finished the season with a 13-1 record.  In the semifinal the team played their best game of the season behind 15 points from star guard Livia Seligsohn en route to a 21-6 victory over Harrington Park. In the championship game, the team trailed 9-5 late, but never gave up. After finally taking a 10-9 lead, their opponent, the vaunted and feared Secaucus Patriots, scored to reclaim the lead. With their backs against the wall with fewer than 30 seconds to play, Bella Lauer got an offensive rebound and scored which ultimately proved to be the game-winner.
