The CMEK Girls 5 Gold team won the AAU league championship at Hoop Heaven. The team was led by Ayelet Motechin, a dominant center from RYNJ who was the top scorer. Alisha Eisner, Leebee Bendheim, Amira Schneider (Noam) all scored and played tough defense. Roxy Harary, Eliana Stein, and Ariel Orgel (BPY) were solid on both ends of the floor all season. Alexa Frank and Rebecca Kermaier (Moriah) were great guards who always made clever decisions. Christina Stathatos was a great rebounder.
