Temple Beth Sholom and the JCC of Paramus/Cong. Beth Tikvah will hold Cabaret Night on Saturday, December 14, at 7:30 p.m. at Temple Beth Sholom. Entertainment will feature the famous Israeli singer and musician Shlomo Haviv and the international singing sensation ESTÉREdiva and their band.
Shlomo Haviv has performed in concerts throughout the United States, including a performance at Carnegie Hall, and a sellout performance at the Olympia Theater in Paris. Shlomo has an extensive repertoire in 17 different languages and has composed most of the songs on his albums.
Soprano ESTÉREdiva is an international concert vocalist who performs in concerts throughout the U.S. and Europe. Her repertiore is quite versatile, and she sings in English, Hebrew, Spanish and Italian. She represented Israel in Eurovision and with her group won first place in Paris.
Musical selections will be in English, Spanish, Hebrew and Yiddish. They will feature a wide variety of music including Motown, disco, hip-hop, classic rock, techno, top 40 and contemporary music. There will be dancing, tapas, a light supper, dessert and coffee. Bring your own wine (kosher only). The cost is $40 per person.
