There are no words to thank you [ty] for Nina Glick’s on-target column in last week’s Jewish Link (“Having Lost Our Voices,” December 1, 2022). Sometimes I feel that I am alone with your exact sentiments. I am afraid for the future generations who will not be able to communicate in any form except with fragment sentences and phrases.
What also annoys me is the people who talk on their cell phones while on the checkout line in the supermarket. They can’t extricate themselves for 10 minutes.
We also still have our landline which I prefer to the cell.
Thank you again.
