Moriah Plus Registration Now Open

Moriah Plus, winner of The Jewish Standard’s Best After School Program 2015 is currently opened for registration to all of Bergen County for it’s Second Quarter 2015/16 session.

The Alisa Flatow Memorial Scholarship Fund

is now accepting on-line applications for the 2016-2017 academic year at www.alisafund.org

Awards are made for full time study in a yeshiva, seminary or other approved program. One need not be accepted to apply. Deadline for applications is February 16, 2016.

This is a competitively awarded scholarship of $4,000US and only six are granted each year. Scholarship, volunteer activities, and financial need are some of the factors considered.  Full details, application forms, and lists of previous winners can be obtained at www.alisafund.org

Annual Cantorial Concert: Shirei Todah – Songs of Thanksgiving

The Jewish liturgy fully reflects the importance of giving thanks and is rich with prayers, psalms and poetry of Thanksgiving, both for Shabbat and holidays, as well as for every day. This year’s annual cantorial concert will be dedicated to these expressions of gratitude with solo performances and ensembles, classic Hazzanut masterpieces, as well as modern settings, performed by cantors of our region. $10
