The Jewish Association for Developmental Disabilities presents “Expression Through Art: A Paint Night for Individuals With Disabilities.” J-ADD is a Jewish organization that helps serve the Jewish community and individuals with developmental disabilities. This event is held for individuals with special needs, ages 16 and up, as a means to express themselves through art. Oftentimes, it is difficult for these individuals to express their emotions or thoughts in a conventional way. Painting and art therapy provides another outlet in which these individuals can express themselves and communicate with others. The event will be held on January 26 and February 23 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades. Admission is $20 per person and dinner will be served. All are welcome to come.
