YIEB Delivers New Years’ Meals to East Brunswick PD

The Young Israel of East Brunswick (YIEB) continued its annual tradition of cooking holiday meals for the East Brunswick Police Department with a New Year’s feast. The leadership of YIEB offers many thanks to the YIEB high school students for leading the effort and Giddy’s Pizzeria for their contribution.

Chabad’s Shanghai Emissary To Speak in Woodcliff Lake

The Valley Chabad Academy of Jewish Studies will host Rabbi Shalom Greenberg, Chabad rabbi in Shanghai for the last 25 years, to share his experience of setting up the first Jewish community in China since communism began. On Tuesday, January 11, at 7:30 p.m., Rabbi Greenberg will speak at Valley Chabad in Woodcliff Lake and on Zoom. He will discuss the history of Jews in China, what it’s like keeping and spreading Judaism in a communist country and the challenges and joys on the frontier.
