Congregation AABJ&D’s Israel Action and Advocacy Committee (IAAC) will host an Israel Lobby Shabbat on Feb. 22 and 23. The focus will be on critical issues facing Israel today, security issues, BDS challenges, political advocacy issues and Israel/US relations.

Friday Night, Feb. 22, Aaron Marcus will be speaking at the home of Alex and Levi Herman, 36 Hooper Ave, at a Super Oneg Shabbat for NCSYers starting at 9:00 pm. His topic will be “Confronting Today’s Campus Challenges such as BDS.”

Shabbat morning, Feb. 23 after kiddush, at “Israel in 30” at AABJ&D, Marcus will be speaking on “A Factual Response to the State of Israel’s Critics.” A Q&A will follow.

Shabbat afternoon, Feb. 23, Barbara Israel Bortniker will be speaking at Seuda Shlishit at AABJ&D on “The State of Israel: US Relations. Can We Rely on US Support for Israel?”
