(Courtesy of Bnai Yeshurun) Israel’s Chief Rabbi HaRav David Lau, shlita, will spend this Shabbat, Parshat Chayei Sarah, November 2-3, with Congregation Bnai Yeshurun. At a Friday evening oneg (8:45 p.m.) Rav Lau will discuss (in English) “The Chief Rabbinate: Accomplishments and Challenges.” On Shabbat morning, Rav Lau will deliver the drasha (in English) at the 9 a.m. minyan in the “new Main.” Rav Lau will also give a special shiur (in Hebrew) on Shabbat afternoon, following 5:30 p.m. Mincha. His topic will be Yitzchak and Rivka. The entire community is invited to attend any and all of Rav Lau’s presentations.
