Congregation Etz Chaim Of Kew Gardens Hills will present its Shiur Hachodesh for the Women by Women this Sunday, Jan. 14 at noon via Zoom. The shiur will feature Dr. Tanya White, teacher and lecturer on Tanach and Jewish philosophy in Israel, who will speak on “When ‘Option A’ is Not Available: Rachel, Chana and the Power of Prayer.” The compelling biblical narratives of Rachel and Chana will be discussed as paradigms of hope in moments of enveloping despair.
