First cousins David Silberman and Jared Eisenberger of Englewood, born eight days apart, shared their bar mitzvah at Congregation Ahavath Torah on Shabbos Parshas Shemini, with David leining the parsha and Jared reading the haftarah. David is the son of Gary and Laura Silberman; Jared is the son of Dov and Rachel Eisenberger. Grandparents are Anita Silberman, Englewood; Irving and Esther Fruchter, Englewood; and Gerson and Rochelle Eisenberger, Monsey. The families celebrated May 21 at Rain in Teaneck, where Dov Eisenberger said everyone went “above and beyond” to make the simcha unforgettable.
