Our delectable craft beer cheddar is brew and cheese in every bite. Small batches of handcrafted cheese curds are soaked in a local IPA during the cheese making process. Once the artisan cheddar is formed, it is then cellar-aged for a year.
The result is an exhilarating food experience. On the front end you savor the nutty, medium sharp, crumbly cheddar and on the finish you’ll find a citrusy, hoppy ale aroma and taste. We use milk from a single herd of pasture-raised cows in Vermont, from a farm that uses sustainable dairy farming practices.
I recommend serving it with a chilled glass of your favorite IPA and crisp green apple slices, or a fruity Malbec wine which marries well with the cheddar’s nuttiness. I also recommend melting it in French onion soup.
