Walk into any Moriah middle school science class and one is sure to find some crazy experiments going on. It may not look like a classroom with all types of materials spread out across the room, but there sure is a lot of learning going on. Moriah science teachers encouraged their students to think “outside the box” and use the tools around them to test what they learn in their books. This week, the Moriah School eighth graders built marble roller coasters to explore potential and kinetic energy in science, and the sixth graders conducted experiments to learn about air pressure.
