Dozens of high school teens gathered for the first CTeen event of the year by Valley Chabad. This event’s theme was Tacos and Tie Dye. The teens tie-dyed shirts and collected and decorated school supplies that will be sent to school children from lower-income families.
The next teen program will be celebrating Sukkot on Wednesday, October 23, at 6 p.m.
CTeen is the high school youth group of Chabad International that has over 500 chapters in 30 countries, and 19 in New Jersey alone.
The teen-run program is headed by teen leaders from local high schools and directed by Rabbi Yosef and Esti Orenstein of Valley Chabad’s Teen Leadership Initiative. The teens gather for fun social events while helping a cause for community service.
The events are open to all Jewish teens. To learn more or for any questions, please email [email protected] or call 201.476.0157. The website is
