‘Dazzle Up’ Your Footwear

Best friends Zoey Epstein and Zahara Solomon, respectively from Englewood and Tenafly, are excited to introduce Dazzle Up, their creative shoe styling business.

Epstein and Solomon have already sold the four pairs of shoes in Dazzle Up’s first two weeks of operation.

These young entrepreneurs, both 12 years old, “dazzle up” shoes for both children and adults with rhinestone designs based on customers’ requests. The business partners listen to their customers’ style preferences to get some inspiration for their shoe designs. Next, customers either ship the shoes directly to Dazzle Up, have the girls order the shoes or drop the shoes off to the girls. Next, the girls create a unique pair of shoes that are glamorized with all kinds of bedazzlements.

With COVID-19 in mind, they ensure proper safety by always informing their customers in advance of the retrieval and delivery process. While Epstein and Solomon initially started the project to keep themselves busy during the summer, Dazzle Up quickly became a success, and they hope to continue the business during the school year as well. Indeed, Epstein was excited to showcase her own pair of Dazzle Up shoes at her bat mitzvah this past Sunday, which helped spread the word about her creativity, hard work and desire to inspire others.
