We write to thank you for the support you showed the Jewish community on Tuesday night, October 17, and we thank the Town Council for unanimously passing the resolution introduced by Councilwoman Hillary Goldberg in its entirety. Our community has been feeling vulnerable, mournful and exposed. We feel abandoned by our non-Jewish neighbors and scared by the vitriol shouted at our people. Your official acknowledgement of our community’s pain as well as your support means a lot.
