Gain an understanding and appreciation of the contemporary-art scene with Ronnit Vasserman, founder of a full-service art consulting firm, the Art Connect Group, located in New York City. Vasserman, who has degrees in both fine arts and art history and is an educational and cultural contemporary-art expert, will lead discussions about present-day artists who are making their mark. She will provide an insightful overview of contemporary trends and where they are going, as well as upcoming female artists, their work and why their influence is so important.
This two-part class is being presented by the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades. The sessions will be on Oct 30 and Nov 6, both from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cost is $50 member/$65 public.
