On Monday, November 1, 2021, the first and second grade students at Academies at GBDS enjoyed a virtual visit with a wonderful author DJ Corchin. The theme of his visit was working together. He read his book to the students and taught them how to draw faces for illustrations. Cochrin and students talked about their feelings, as well as discussed the three things students want to be when they grow up.
