The recent accords between Israel and Bahrain and the UAE represent a moderately positive development, yet while The Jewish Link was swooning over them, it entirely ignored other, far more significant, news. Donald Trump acknowledged—on tape—that he deliberately misled the American people about the dangers of COVID-19, and he continues to lie about the importance of masks in limiting its spread. Conservative estimates are that, so far, 150,000 of the 200,000 lives lost could have been saved if he had (a) been honest and (b) done his job. (Not to mention the tens of thousands of lives permanently devastated by sequelae of the disease, the upending of education, and the economic collapse.)

Nor has The Link talked about the way the Trump administration has given succor to right-wing anti-Semites by quashing investigation of white supremacists and by championing QAnon.

This corrupt, dishonest, mean-spirited and incompetent administration is not good for America and is not good for Israel.
