Shaarei Orah, The Sephardic Congregation of Teaneck, is organizing a drive in support of Jewish Federation of Northern NJ’s Mitzvah Day, November 2, 2014. New toothbrushes are being collected to benefit the “Donate A Toothbrush” program. This program collects and distributes toothbrushes to dental healthcare missions around the world under the auspices of World Dental Relief as well as to inner city dental clinics throughout the United States. Only new, unused toothbrushes are being collected (no battery operated, electric, or disposable toothbrushes) and no floss or paste please. To donate, drop your bag of toothbrushes at Shaarei Orah Synagogue, 1425 Essex Road (corner Ogden) in Teaneck. 201-833-0800 or email [email protected].
