The Dor L’Dor group at Congregation Ahavath Torah is pleased to present Karen I. Treiger, attorney and award-winning author of “My Soul is Filled With Joy: A Holocaust Story,” speaking on Zoom on Tuesday, November 10, at 1:00 p.m. Her topic, marking the 82nd anniversary of Kristallnacht, will be: “What Does it Mean to be Human: A Tale of Holocaust Survival.” Her talk will be based on her book which is in two parts: the story of her in-laws, Esther and Sam Goldberg, who miraculously survived the Shoah; and Karen’s visit to Poland in 2016, along with her family, and her discovery of the lessons of hope, gratitude, love and joy.
