In The Moriah School’s pre-k, Dr. Seuss has definitely achieved his goal of bringing fun and excitement to reading! The students enjoyed many of Dr. Seuss’ books and were excited to participate in follow up activities, including rhymes and “rainy day” activities with the “Cat in the Hat,” a letter matching game with “Red Fish” and “Blue Fish,” sticky green oobleck with King Derwin and Bartholomew Cubbins, and picking their own pets. To culminate the week, they created their own Dr. Seuss-like creatures and voted for their favorite Dr. Seuss book. “Green Eggs and Ham” won by a landslide!
