Eastern Union Launches Free Virtual Work-Life Mentoring Program for Post-Seminary Girls

(Courtesy of Artscroll) With a new group of girls due to return home from seminary ready to contemplate their entry into the workforce, Eastern Union is offering a free work-life mentoring program that will provide participants with an opportunity to network with like-minded peers and over 30 successful frum businesswomen representing a variety of industries.

The work-life program will give post-seminary girls and any young women looking to enhance their employment opportunities a comprehensive look at potential career choices, hearing from women who have been in their shoes how they carved out their respective career paths. The all-remote program offers tremendous flexibility, with hours that are compatible with every schedule and every job.

The three-week program affords Eastern Union an opportunity to pay its successes forward, using its well-known training, mentorship, tools and technology to help the community in a meaningful way. Starting on June 7, the program will include live Zoom mentor interviews every Monday through Thursday at 1:30 p.m., each one giving an overview of different career paths. Participants will also be able to interact with the mentors and each other on a TAG-approved communications platform.

An optional component of the program will provide access to recordings of the mentor interviews, full Slack channels and Eastern Union’s video library of business training courses on business, sales, underwriting, research and real estate for a nominal materials fee.

“Post-seminary girls are at a crossroads in their lives, and we look forward to helping them take their next steps forward at this critical juncture,” said Eastern Union president and co-founder Ira Zlotowitz. “We look forward to leveraging our technology so that these young women can speak to mentors and others in the same boat, while also giving them a taste of the many different options available to them.”
