This year’s annual I. David and Miriam Goldstein Teshuva Lecture, a major event in the Middlesex County, New Jersey Jewish community, will take place at Congregation Ohr Torah in Edison (48 Edgemount Road) on Wednesday, September 13 at 8 p.m. The featured speaker is Rabbi Aryeh Lebowitz, rabbi of Beis Haknesses of North Woodmere, New York and director of the Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik Semikha Program at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) of Yeshiva University. The title of Rabbi Lebowitz’s lecture is “Teshuva for Thinking the Wrong Way.”

He has published numerous articles on practical halachic topics in various journals, including several recent articles in the Journal of Halacha and Contemporary Society.
