What Is Your College Student Doing This Summer?

The Jewish Link is seeking college students interested in reporting, writing and photography to join us for this year’s summer internship program, based in Teaneck. We are looking for motivated, flexible and creative self-starters who are able to meet tight deadlines and cover last-minute events. Responsibilities will include attending, reporting on and/or taking photos during local events in our communities in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut; writing articles and pithy photo captions; and working collaboratively with the intern team, using print and digital media. Strong writing skills are required but students can be expected to learn Jewish journalism etiquette and AP newspaper style. Interns will also be required to attend online courses about topics in newspaper journalism.

This is a paid, six-week, in-person internship. Start/end dates to be determined based on group availability. The internship is only open to enrolled college students.

To apply, please send a resume and three writing samples to [email protected].
