Bruriah High School’s Annual Holocaust Museum project culminated with a visit from Holocaust survivors and Elizabeth’s mayor, Chris Bollwage. The students of Bruriah were humbled and honored by these very important visitors to the Museum.
Each year, the students at Bruriah create exhibits in their original museum about the Holocaust. The students are then the curators of the museum and lead tours to educate others. The museum follows the events leading up to and following the Holocaust through the present. This year’s museum included a special feature for the 75th anniversary of the Holocaust, illustrating Rav Pinchas Teitz’s efforts to build a post-war Kehillah and a paradigm of Yeshivot, thus setting the standard for others to follow.
